In 2022, this classic 1978 Mako was transformed by acclaimed fiberglass artist, Leon Ortega, in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. No expense was spared as the original console and deck were taken down to the ribs and rebuilt to modern specs. The transom was re-enforced to 8” thick with Armstrong bracket. A new 165 gallon fuel tank sits in the center of the boat beneath the console. New T-top with 3” stainless tubing and re enforced canvas. All new wiring and batteries carefully and cleanly installed for easy troubleshooting.
